Greenhouse in attic.

It currently has an unfinished attic but the roof needs to be replaced soon. Its slanted a frame roof and large windows make for a light bright living. One of the fans is hooked up in the corner pointing inward providing general air circulation around the space inside. The kitchen is the room that still most resembles a greenhouse.

Is it a crazy idea to create an indoor garden grow room in your loft or attic. My mind has drifted to the possibility of redoing the roof in clear corrugated roofing or similar and using the attic space as a green house. Young and berry called my firm eurodale developments to design and build a renovation and addition to the existing attic space in order to allow for the integration of the greenhouse and create. These vents allow air inside the attic to exit through the lowest location of the soffit and provide incredible ventilation and air movement when they are used in conjunction with ridge vents that run the entire length of the roof.

While a greenhouse can protect plants from wind rain and snow during the winter the shelter it provides may not be enough guard against extreme cold.
